  • As a fellow tutor, I am passionate about creating a platform that empowers educators to thrive as independent business owners (sub-contractors). I understand the challenges that come with tutoring and am committed to offering high rates and an environment that encourages tutors to enjoy their work.

    We understand that being a tutor is a role that takes dedication and intelligence to perform. That’s why you deserve a platform that not only has great rates, but cares about you as a tutor. We want tutoring to suit you and for you to feel comfortable, yet empowered. Through some of our features like regular check-ins, client terms and conditions, and market reviews, we ensure that you are looked after. We also time and energy off your shoulders, by handling all the tedious stuff like invoicing, finding clients, and admin.

  • Being a tutor is so rewarding! You get to empower students and watch them grow. You also get the flexibility of being your own boss, meaning you choose when you work, where you work, and how you work.

  • We aim to make the pay rates as fair as possible, and take a small percentage for our expenditures. This means that you receive the high and fair rates that you deserve.

    The Client sets a fixed rate per session between our guidelines, from which tutors will receive at minimum $40 and at maximum $73. Our fees are the some of the lowest industry wide, yet our tutors receive some of the highest amount industry wide.

  • Good question. To ensure that we have the cream of the crop of tutors, we require you to have:

    • Graduated High School with an 85+ ATAR or have teaching qualifications

    • A valid Working With Children Check or Teacher Registration Number

    • Two professional referees

    • CV and resume

    • The ability to legally work in Australia

    • If tutoring online, you must have a reliable internet connection, device and a quiet place to work at.

    • You must be able to commit to working with your students for at least 6 months.

    • Experience being educated by the Australian High School or Primary School System, or have teaching qualifications.

    As we will hire you as a contractor and treat you as your own business, we also require:
